 Responding to recent floods in the Hill Country area and a national rallying cry for citizen action within their community, Clear River Advocates in not another environmental or lobbyist group.
Under an educational structure, actual work is accomplished through hands-on projects such as |
- litter control
- riverside tree planting (aids in bank stabilization)
- storm drain stenciling

| It is in this education that the rivers and lakes get cleaned and a growing citizenry is built of people who have first hand knowledge and are therefore less likely to pollute waterways in the future. |

The verdict is in: This year's Parade was a success! Prizes were won, great music as well as great food was enjoyed, and most importantly, the river was highlighted and appreciated. Photos are now up of the floats (there were some really great ones), the sponsors, the spectators, etc. etc. Check it out! |
